We spent a week in western Canada and tackled many of the must see attractions in both Vancouver and Victoria while also getting out on the hiking trails a couple of times.
Vancouver was the perfect destination to escape the summer humidity! We loved being on the water so close to mountains while also happening to be in a very large international city.
After booking the trip we realized that Metallica was playing at one of the Vancouver arenas on the front end of the trip so we managed to see the band live in concert for the first time while also covering a lot of ground in both cities.
