Champagne and tennis is my favorite new combo, although not at the same time. While many places are safely reopening, there are still some limitations that make us rethink how we travel. With that in mind, I discovered quite a few tennis focused resorts and hotels within the US. My travel backlog is now full of possibilities and may continue down this theme for a little while! We spent four nights at the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in northeast Florida where we enjoyed unlimited tennis, ocean views, and an award winning resort experience.
Here are some highlights:
The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club is a gorgeous AAA Five Diamond rated resort on the Atlantic Ocean with 15 clay tennis courts, two golf courses, 10 restaurants, four swimming pools, boutique shopping, a spa, and much more! There really aren’t a lot of reasons to leave the property once you arrive. Absolutely recommend if you like tennis, golf, or just lounging at the pool and beach.

Tennis! We had no problem booking court time but highly recommend doing so prior to arriving to ensure you can play.

Photo shoots on the way to the racquet club felt like the right thing to do to document our growing tennis wardrobe.

Sunrise views from the balcony.

Bonus side trip to St. Augustine during a rain delay at the racquet club.

Head on over to my Ponte Vedra Beach and St. Augustine pages to read more about our tenniscation (tennis vacation).
Question: Have you started traveling again? If so, how have you adapted your plans? Any recommendations?
