If you missed part I and part II, read them first! Leading up to our 8th wedding anniversary on June 19, 2018, I am posting a three part series highlighting our honeymoon travels in Asia. We had an amazing trip prepared just for us where we left the United States on June 21, 2010 and returned on July 4, 2010. Let’s pick back up in Bali.
Literally a day away from every day life in the DC area, Bali is one of the furthest places you can travel from the United States, and in my opinion, it is entirely worth it if you want to disconnect from the daily grind. Here are a few reasons why Bali is truly fabulous, truly paradise!
- The Oberoi is an amazing place to spend the day relaxing
- Seminyak Beach is the spot for sunset walks along the Indian Ocean shoreline
- If you leave the pool/beach, you can explore ancient temples
- One minute you’re in a ton of traffic, the next you are driving by rice fields
Head on over to my Bali page to read more about the third and final stop on our three part honeymoon in Asia!
Question: What is the one place that you describe as truly fabulous, truly paradise?
Love, love, love it!!!
Ummm – when is Africa? Although might have to change from champagne on planes to whiskey in tents!!!
Thanks!! First Argentina by request, then South Africa. That’s a great blog title for the safari portion of the SA trip! Get ready!
Thanks! It was!
