Japan, Part I: Tokyo

Just a year ago we spent one week in Japan. While not nearly enough time to explore at a leisurely rate or to cover more than two cities, I highlighted Japan as one of my most memorable trips when I launched this blog.

We spent 4 nights and 3 days in Tokyo before spending another 3 nights and 3 days in Kyoto. I am breaking the trip into two parts since there is so much to share!

First up, Tokyo!

Highlights from Tokyo:

Sushi on the go snacks.

Lost in translation outtakes from Tokyo:

When attempting to use a vending machine to purchase iced tea but received hot milk tea. This happened multiple times.

Sometimes you just need pizza and tacos no matter where you are.

And much more! These are just the highlights (and outtakes) so head on over to my Tokyo page to read more about our trip and to see a day by day itinerary to plan your own trip!

Question: What’s the most memorable thing you did in Tokyo?
